Kajsa Krishni Boräng has been a Reiki Master since 1984 and is also an acupuncturist, Alexander teacher and Qi Gong instructor. She spent several long periods living in an ashram in India, where she took care of a herd of deer and peacocks as part of her spiritual practice there. When the deer got foot and mouth disease, Krishni was initiated into Reiki by Wanja Twan, one of Hawayo Takata’s original 22 Reiki Masters, so that they could treat the deer together.
Krishni has practised and taught Reiki in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia, reaching people around the world with this powerful form of energetic healing. Her first book, Principles of Reiki, was translated into eight languages and has recently been updated and reissued. Krishni now lives in her native Sweden where she continues to teach Reiki, explore energy healing, and write.
